This week Brian is joined by singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist, producer and TikTok star Alex Millar.
Alex is the core member of alt rock band Vattica. Based in Los Angeles, California the band has played legendary venues such as The Viper Room, The Roxy Theatre, The Troubadour and Whisky A Go Go. In 2015 they were signed to Another Century Records. This however was not the answer to their prayers and the next few years did not go as expected.
As well as being an accomplished musician Alex has also amassed a large following on TikTok where he does videos exposing industry secrets and the acclaimed video series "Self Made Is A Toxic Myth" It is here where Alex crushes the myth of the American dream where if you work hard you will rise to the top. Tackling subjects such as Taylor Swift, Eminem and Ariana Grande he shows that nobody is in fact self made, more so community made.
