Jackson Colt, a South African artist, and rock band, epitomises the vibrant spirit of 80’s Rock with a contemporary twist. Their music, characterised by infectious chorus hooks, melodious riffs, and electrifying solos, pays homage to the Golden Era of the Guitar while breathing new life into the genre for diverse audiences worldwide. Early Influences and Musical Journey: The journey of Jackson Colt began when he received his first guitar at the tender age of 9 from a second-hand store. Inspired by legendary bands like Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Who, and Grand Funk Railroad, Jackson embarked on a musical odyssey fuelled by the raw energy of classic rock.
