John Battersby Band
Cape Town-based John Battersby, known for his years with Red Tape Riot, has returned with a new musical venture - the John Battersby Band. Comprising Marc Klein (Drums), Tristan Bell (Guitar), and CJ Duckitt (Bass), this seasoned group of musicians brings a professional approach to production and performance.
The band's sound is a fusion of Indie and classic rock influences, drawing inspiration from The Killers, War on Drugs, The Black Keys, Dire Straits, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, and Fleetwood Mac. Their music is instantly accessible, blending new and old sounds, creating a nostalgic yet fresh experience for the listener.
